Amber Crowley-Gall received a B.S in Biological Sciences from Wright State University and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Cincinnati. After doing post-doctoral research at the University of California-Davis, she joined the faculty at Iowa State University where she is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology, Entomology and Microbiology with a general background in chemical ecology. Her research interests focus on examining the role of chemical cues in plant-insect interactions and aims to expand this understanding by integrating the role of microbes and their volatiles into these complex interactions utilizing behavioral, chemical and electrophysiological techniques.
