I am a broad-based organismal biologist whose primary research interests are in insect taxonomy, aquatic entomology, and arthropod biodiversity. Projects in my laboratory include many aspects of organismal biology but focus on three major areas: (1) biodiversity of aquatic insects, (2) revisionary insect systematics, and (3) phylogenetics of true flies (Diptera).
