Research in my lab focuses on wildlife health and wildlife genetics with the goal of contributing to the successful conservation and management of wildlife populations. Research topics include relationships between host ecology and disease susceptibility, transmission and distribution; ecological and environmental factors associated with disease outbreaks and pathogen persistence; impacts of disease to wildlife populations; landscape genetics; and genetic diversity and population structure.
